A creative Wonderbox
My sister, Cynthihah, had some red fabric that came to her free. So she used it to make a Wonderbox. But she thought this red was just a little too…RED. So, since she lives in Washington, she did the only logical thing: she turned it into an apple! How creative is that? I love the stem that doubles as a handle. Isn’t that just clever? Frugality, self-sufficiency and creativity all in one package.
She’s also made several great dishes in her Wonderbox. She heats up her food in the morning, puts it in the Wonderbox and at the end of a very busy day, she comes home to a hot, home-cooked meal. She’s inspired other ladies in her church to make and use their own Wonderboxes.
So how about you? What kind of Wonderbox have you made?

I love the creative use of “found’ fabric. Note the pot cooking away inside. (Picture on the right)

For those that don’t know what a Wonderbox is, I have information in the Library and there are some good links to more info in the June Goal #1 post.
You have a talented sister!
Hi Aunties! saw this and thought I’d comment! Looks absolutely adorable but… what the heck is a wonderbox? Thanks for sharing!
I had some yummy rice that they made with the wonder box. It really worked. Such a cleaver Idea. I got to make one or two. I love it does not heat up you house and that does not use any electricity. She said it also keep thing cold too.
